To create a separate Recycling Division, it was also essential to acquire other companies in different European countries.
One of the first subsidiaries was Hamburger Recycling Ens (today HR Croatia), which was founded in 2005. In 2006 the Division was expanded by the companies Hamburger Recycling Polska, Hamburger Recycling Romania and Hamburger Recycling Nové Zamky (today HR Slovakia). In 2008 Hamburger Recycling Bulgaria was founded.
Furthermore, in 2009 the acquisition of shares in Duparec Kft (now HR Hungary) and Tehnopapir was added. In 2012 Hamburger Recycling Adria was founded in Slovenia. Also in 2012 Stavosur (today HR CZ) has joined HRG, 2016 we bought 100% of the company. We entered the Turkish market and acquired a financial contribution to the company Çevrim Atık in 2015. Subsequently, the company Kastaş Kağıt was purchased in Turkey in 2017 - these two companies now form HR Turkey.
Today we can proudly say that with about 900 employees in 12 companies we are striving for further Growth in the spirit of our targets of Grow2030,
