DUPAREC Kft. on Western Hungarian exhibition

Duparec Kft., operating premises in the region, has successfully participated in the international exhibition and fair VÁREXPO, in Western Hungary.

The dynamic economic development of the town of Várpalota makes it necessary to present the economic operators of the settlement and the region and to provide an opportunity for people as to get acquainted with local craftsmen, civil organizations, sports clubs and transborder guests.

During the exhibition held on 14 and 15 September, with more than 50 exhibitors, the invited guests listened to professional presentations at the Town Sports Hall. Following the presentations on environmental impacts of economic trends and the EU's common agricultural policy, attention was drawn to the practical side of life, and—since one of the main topics of the event was the protection of the environment—the guests got a comprehensive picture of waste management from the local public service provider's report. Afterwards, László Panyi, the executive director of Duparec Kft., presented the model of the circular economy and the implementation of paper and plastic waste processing.

In his presentation, László Panyi emphasized that the presence of Duparec Kft., as a large company with international background, can successfully improve the waste management of the region and the related awareness.

At its premises at Inota, the company guarantees the continuous takeover of paper suitable for paper production and various grades of recycled plastic waste from both the public and the business sector. In addition, it co-operates with public service providers in the collection and pre-treatment of selectively collected residential paper and plastic waste. One of its more important projects is the organization of the biannual school-based paper collection.

Since the company plans to install a sorting line for the selection of mixed packaging materials from residential selective waste collection at its premises at Inota, they are also looking for new partners due to the increased processing capacity.

The exhibition has provided an excellent opportunity for representatives of Duparec Kft. to emphasize the presence of the company in the region, to personally meet the existing and potential partners and to recruit employees.

The organizers paid special attention to shape the world view of the youngsters in an environmentally aware manner, and therefore, introduced to them possibilities of waste recycling in handicraft sessions. The children could make colourful pen holders from paper rolls at the booth of Duparec Kft.

The younger children were very excited about the opportunity to get familiar up close with the waste collecting vehicle of Duparec Kft., the multilift container carrier truck.
