Hamburger Recycling Austria is delighted to announce that out Entsorgungs Fachbetrieb (EFB) certificate by the V.EFB, an association that confers the Waste Management Company status, has been extended for 2023. Our compliance with the regulations was assessed by KEC Kanzian Engineering & Consulting GmbH and approved by the V.EFB.
The acquisition of this certificate indicates that Hamburger Recycling Group's operations are in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which define the requirements for an environmental management system that organizations can use to improve their environmental performance. KEC Kanzian Engineering & Consulting GmbH assessed HRG's compliance with the regulations on waste disposal companies (RAEF), environmentally relevant laws, company organization documents, proper income documentation, and a declaration of legal conformity (including the reliability and expertise of relevant individuals, mandatory insurance coverage, personnel equipment, and compulsory risk assessment, legal quantities).
The EFB system is widely recognized in Germany and Austria. Currently, nearly 100 companies in Austria, with almost 200 locations, are EFB-certified.
With this award we can continue collecting valuable raw materials and providing optimal recycling solutions to our customers and close the circularity loop with Hamburger Containerboard and Dunapack Packaging.
