Hamburger Recycling Austria Receives EFB Certificate

Hamburger Recycling Austria is happy to announce that we have received Entsorgungs Fachbetrieb (EFB) certificate, proving our waste management company status from the V.EFB, Association for the Award of the Certificate of a Waste Management Company.

Hamburger Recycling Austria is happy to announce that we have received Entsorgungs Fachbetrieb (EFB) certificate, proving our waste management company status from the V.EFB, Association for the Award of the Certificate of a Waste Management Company. The assessment of compliance criteria was conducted by the KEC Kanzian Engineering & Consulting GmbH and approved by the V.EFB.

The receipt of this certificate means that the performance of Hamburger Recycling Group aligns with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which specify the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. KEC Kanzian Engineering & Consulting GmbH 's assessment of HRG's compliance with Regulations on the requirements for waste disposal companies (RAEF), environmentally relevant laws, documents for company organization, proper income documentation, declaration of legal conformity (including reliability and expertise of relevant persons, obligatory insurance coverage, personnel equipment, and mandatory risk assessment).

The EFB system is already well known in Germany and Austria. Around 100 companies in Austria with almost 200 locations are currently EFB-certified. Mr. Wolfgang Markl, our Project and Process Manager, received an EFB certificate on behalf of Hamburger Recycling, from V.EFB chairman Wolfgang Büchler.
