Prinzhorn Group – „Value from waste” 

The Austrian owned Prinzhorn Group ranks among the European market leaders in the recycling, paper and packaging industry and is the regional market leader in Central and Eastern Europe.

It is structured in three operational divisions:

  • Hamburger Recycling Group (collection and trading of secondary raw materials)
  • Hamburger Containerboard (production of containerboard)
  • Dunapack Packaging (corrugated packaging solutions)

The Group creates a fully integrated value chain through the activities of these three divisions in the spirit of circular economy and sustainable development.

Every member of the Prinzhorn Group puts great emphasis on reducing their ecological footprint and on further increasing the already high environmental protection standards. The goal of the energy-saving investments and the endeavours to use renewable resources is to achiev sustainable production and to increase the self-sustainability of the individual factories.

Hamburger Recycling Group, with its core competence in collection, treatment, trade and transport closes the loop between paper production (Hamburger Containerboard) and packaging production (Dunapack Packaging) in the group.

The "Recycling" division is available to its partners in 10 countries in 14 factories.
